Ojo de Liebre Lagoon (also called Scammons Lagoon), is the most important congregation lagoon for Pacific gray whales, and where every season more than 50% of their new babies are born. At the peak of the season there can be more than 2000 whales inside this lagoon, mating, giving birth and raising their babies. While the gray whales reside in these coastal lagoons of Baja California they sometimes exibit behavior unheard of in wild animals: they bring their young to interact with humans. These lagoons offer some of the best whale watching opportunities in the world.

Our whale watching tours will satisfy those looking for a safe, convenient, affordable whale watching experience in Baja, without the necessity of driving in or camping.

Our packages  include round-trip transportation from the San Diego area to your destination, hotel lodgings, meals and whale waching trips with your trip guide and experienced, local panga drivers.

Your guide: Jose Sanchez-Pacheco is a bi-lingual marine biologist with over 20 years experience studying gray whales, working for whale conservation and guiding trips in Baja.
